Aim of the project

This project aims to understand to what extent users know active and assistive living (AAL) technologies and their capabilities. AAL technologies refer to devices or systems that help maintain or improve a person’s ability to do things in everyday life. These can assist with a range of difficulties, including problems with memory and mobility.  Examples of  AAL tech include smartwatches, voice assistants, as well as sensors.

Who can take part?

At this stage, we are looking for participants over the age of 60, even if they are not users of AAL technologies. Participants need to be based in the UK, and they must be willing to take part in a 50 min face-to-face or online interview with our research team.

Are there any incentives?

Participants will be given a £15 Amazon voucher for their time.

If you’re interested in taking part, please send an email to r.perezvega@henley.ac.uk with the title “Over 60s study”.
